Jack Shaffer is a dynamic and accomplished performer, excelling as an actor, singer, and dancer. At 17 years old, he is a senior at Lakeside High School in Augusta, Georgia, where he has already made his mark with over 30 shows to his name. Jack’s most recognizable roles include Percy Jackson in *The Lightning Thief Musical*, Lumiere in *Beauty and The Beast*, Tamatoa in *Moana*, Genie in *Aladdin*, and Olaf in *Frozen*.
Jack’s love for performing was kindled from an early age, singing in church and with his family. Inspired by the magic of Disney movies and live shows at Disney World, he developed a deep passion for theatre. He is actively involved in his community theatre with The Augusta Players under the guidance of Scott Seidl and Christina Bentley. Jack also had the unique opportunity to participate in the first-ever workshop production of *Something Rotten Jr.* with iTheatrics, directed by Marty Johnson.
At school, Jack is a prominent figure in the theatre department and Show Choir program, serving as president of both respective honor societies. His talents have been recognized with numerous awards, including Best Male Solo (3x), All Star Cast, Best Supporting Actor, and GHSA State Champion in Humorous Interpretation (2x).
Currently, Jack is in the process of applying to college, where he plans to major in Musical Theatre and minor in Spanish and Business. His favorite quote, “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It,” by Walt Disney, perfectly captures his unwavering dedication to his craft and his dreams.
